Iam interested in coming out to the sea to go fishing. Never been fishing before but I’m sick of the 9-5 and is interested in an Adventure. I look at it like this, I kill myself at my job for nothing, so why not kill myself a little more on a boat and make money. I’m pretty intense when I’m working, some just get out of my way and let me go, when others try to keep up, but over all, fishing what I want to do, and somehow that’s what I’m gonna do.I’m looking for seasonal work, cause I got kids here in Ohio, but if needs be I might be willing to go out all year.. I’m a greenhorn thinking of taking the plunge. I am looking for steady year round work for about 3 years. My preference is to be a deckhand not a processor (I’ll have a couple of months savings to live on while looking). I’m under no illusions of getting rich quick. From your site it seems Kodiak may be a fit. I wasn’t sure if it’s good territory for a greenhorn to get his start.

I am available to work year round or seasonally. I am pretty good at fish filleting or butchering a moose. I was a fishing guide…I am also an avid hunter…how would you recommend I connect with a job in Alaska in the fishing industry? I am free to relocate at will. I have 17 yrs of management experience and 14 yrs of sales experience and three college degrees. I am 52 yrs old and love the real life of Alaska..very much like the real life in most of Nevada…not like Vegas. Hope you can help…Greig

hi my name is james and iam 25 years old i have fished in alaska for three years and i know how to hang net and can mend net and i have fished out of bellingham washingtion my hole life and iam buying my ticket up there and will be ariveing on june ninth and will be going around to the canneries looking for work
